About LAM Tours

The Education Department creates tours to help visitors of all ages discover and explore the visual arts. All educational opportunities strive to challenge the visitor to engage in a learning experience, utilizing critical thinking and object-based education. Our goal is to provide a positive museum visit for everyone. Our tour method uses questions to engage student understandings and curriculum connections. Trained volunteer guides (Docents) facilitate guided group tours for all ages.
