Celebrating a landmark gift of prints from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation, this exhibition situates Frankenthaler’s work within the broader artistic currents that shaped postwar American art. Bringing together paintings and works on paper, it underscores the formal innovation, material experimentation, and sustained engagement with color that defined the artist's practice. Rarely exhibited works, including significant loans from the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation and the Jorge M. and Darlene Pérez Collection, illuminate the exchanges and affinities that connected Frankenthaler to the artists in her circle and trace the evolution of a singular artistic vision.
